Lanterns bathed in a subdued glow cast delicate pools of light along the cobblestone streets, and rumors linger in the air like specters of the past. You can visit the Jishu Jinja Shrine and pray to Okuninushi-no-Mikoto, for your chance to find eternal love. Every now and then, Ākādo experiences a peculiar transformation, beckoning the townspeople to an otherworldly celebration. The narrow streets become alive with masked figures in ornate kimonos moving to the rhythmic beat. Will you be there?
